Vocational Skills Project

Vocational training being of high value to the marginalized women, it benefits the women economically and socially through being mentored and trained in various skills for their human survival and St. Ritah Women Development Association embarked and started a vocational skill Centre to train women, youth and elderly in various for their self-reliance. We offer the following skills in vocational training

  • Tailoring
  • Hair dressing
  • Welding
  • Knitting
  • Hand basket weaving
  • Computer training
  • Carpentry to both women and men.

Art and craft making in jewelry i.e. making beads, caps and pocket wallets.

The skill Centre was established in 2016 with 23 trainees and since then the skill center has benefited 194 beneficiaries both in carpentry, tailoring, hair dressing, art and craft. We would have benefited more than the mentioned one but we still face a challenge of funds to support a big number of beneficiaries.
